Module overview:

Transgenerational consequences of the Holocaust and other genocidal events. A systemic approach to curing our collective traumas. While it is a fact that man's inhumanity to man is ancient and ongoing, it is also true that our individual, family, and collective traumas can heal. We believe it is important to recognize that genocide is among what Bert Hellinger called the "Forces Majeure" that shape the lives of individuals, families, communities and entire nations. Denial, cover-ups, minimization, and blaming of victims only serve to perpetuate continuous cycles of the victim / offender dynamic. Recent research in the study of epigenetics reveals that the symptoms of an unresolved trauma are in fact transmitted, through DNA, to at least 7 generations of descendants.
